Wishing You a Happy and Safe 4th of July
I hope you and your family have a Happy 4th of July. My boys are looking forward to a spectacular firework show at our local high school. Since I’m on call this holiday weekend, I’d like to take a minute and remind everyone that fireworks while beautiful to watch, can be extremely dangerous. Every year thousands of children are seriously burned and injured by fireworks. Even those thought to be safer, like sparklers can reach over 1000 degrees and cause severe burns, permanent damage and blindness. Instead of private fireworks, look for a public fireworks show in your community. Leave fireworks to professionals and have a healthy, happy and safe 4th of July!
