Swaddling
- The American Academy of Pediatrics (and most moms too!) recommend swaddling as a safe way to wrap a baby for sleeping.
- Ask labor & delivery nurses to teach you how to wrap your baby tightly.
- Always put baby on his back, in his own safe sleep environment for safe sleeping.
- Around 4 months, many babies will try to break from the swaddle.
- A sleep sack is great alternative to swaddle blanket.
- If your little one enjoys being bundled up in a swaddle, it is perfectly safe and fine.
