How to Teach Kids to Blow Their Nose
When children have a runny or stuffed nose, parents put a tissue up to their nose and try to teach them to blow, knowing it will help them feel better. Around the ages of two or three you can teach a child to blow his or her nose.
Follow these tips:
- Hold a tissue up to their nose closing one nostril
- Tell them to blow gently
- Teach them to throw the tissue in the trash
- Wash hands thoroughly afterwards
